Every year, Nightstop works with hundreds of young people who are in a crisis or experiencing homelessness. To find the best help for you, please look through the questions below.

I am aged 16-25 and homeless, where can I stay?

There are 33 Nightstops around the country, placing young people each night with trained volunteers. Find your nearest Nightstop and how to get in touch with them.

I am worried about something, who can I talk to?

If you are worried about yourself or a young person you care about, the Mix helpline might be able to help. It is a free and confidential advice line for young people that can help with questions around health, homelessness and other concerns. You can call them on this number, 0808 808 4994, access their website - www.getconnected.org.uk - or download the app on iTUnes or Google Play.

 

I am in debt or need help with housing benefits, what should I do?

For the first point of help with debt and financial questions, you can speak to Citizens Advice, the service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free information and advice from 3,300 locations. Find your nearest location here 

 

I don't feel safe where I am, what can I do?

If you feel in immediate danger, call the police on 999 as soon as you can. 

If you feel under threat but not in immediate danger, call the police on 101, or try the confidential free helplines for children and young people, ChildLine 0800 1111 and NSPCC 0808 800 5000.
